Canadian banjo player Allison de Groot had been getting a lot of notice and gaining a lot of fans when she was part of the Winnipeg-based country-bluegrass-folk quartet Oh My Darling.But a move south to study at Berklee College of Music in 2012 eventually led to her also moving on to different musical circumstances.
